Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development Corporation ("MCUD"; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kenji Morita) and Phoenix Property Investors Japan Limited (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative in Japan: Daisuke Hayashi), a Hong Kong-based investment group, have announced the completion on October 31, 2024 of their first joint project, a logistics facility to be developed in Minamiyama, Kato-shi, Hyogo Prefecture. In the future, we plan to acquire CASBEE certification, a comprehensive assessment system for building environmental performance, and BELS certification, a system for indicating the energy efficiency and conservation performance of buildings. In addition, some of the site's exterior pavement is made of medium-temperature asphalt in consideration of the SDGs, which reduces CO2 emissions during construction by 15% compared to ordinary asphalt.
