This fall marks the 64th edition of Tokyo's famous Kanda Used Book Festival. As the largest annual event under the auspices of the Kanda Used Bookstore Association, the festival has become more and more grandiose with each passing year.

This fall, more than 100 wagons will be lined up along Yasukuni Street, creating a 500-meter-long "Book Corridor" surrounded by bookstores and bookshelves. Each specialized antiquarian bookstore will prepare books of various genres for this event.

In addition to the regular "Aozora Hiboridashi Ichiba" and "Tokusen Kosho Sokutsu Sokuhan," there will be limited sales of original tote bags made in collaboration with "Rilakkuma," an exhibition themed on the Jimbocho used bookstore district, and the latest edition of "JIMBOCHO Kosho Machi" (JIMBOCHO used bookstore district). The event is expected to be even more exciting than in previous years.

Visitor benefits will also be offered.

The "Chiyoda-ku Campus Consortium" was established in 2018 by five universities (Otsuma Women's University and Otsuma Women's University Junior College, Kyoritsu Women's University and Kyoritsu Women's Junior College, Tokyo Kasei Gakuin University, Nishimatsu Gakusha University, and Hosei University) whose campuses are located within walking distance of each other in Chiyoda-ku, with the aim of promoting cooperation among universities and regional development by taking advantage of their locations in the vicinity.
