This is a calendar with a new sense of value, in which the calendar is turned halfway vertically on the beginning of each of the 24 seasonal divisions, such as Risshun, Rainy Season, and Keihinetsu, instead of on the first day of each month. This is an emotional calendar that proposes an affluent lifestyle in which people can sense the seasons with a high resolution and sensitively grasp the signs of new seasons to come.

It will be exhibited at the GOOD LIFE Fair to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from October 25 (Fri.) to 27 (Sun.), 2024, and will be on sale in advance at the fair.

Nijushisekki: Seasonal divisions that divide the year into four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) and six more each. Well-known examples include Risshun (the first day of spring), the summer and winter solstices, and the spring and autumnal equinoxes, which are both national holidays.

Unlike most calendars, which are turned over on the first day of each month, this calendar is turned over halfway on the first day of each of the 24 solar terms, starting with "Risshun" on February 3, 2025, followed by "Amousui" on February 18, "Keihatsu" on March 5, and so on for a year until February 3, 2026, The next page will be "Rainy Water" on February 18, "Keihinetsu" on March 5, and so on.

Inspired by the fact that the actual seasons change in gradations, the design is intended to emotionally express the gradual transition of the seasons. Each of the 12 calendars is designed with an illustration inspired by the seasonal word for each season, along with a small seasonal word. You can visually enjoy the changing of the seasons. The illustrations for this calendar are by Masao Shirasawa, a graphic designer who has received numerous awards both in Japan and abroad. The simple yet organic design, which makes use of typography and unique line depiction, delicately expresses a sense of the seasons based on the 24 seasonal divisions. This year's calendar is designed to be both artistic and practical, as is typical of Mr. Shirasawa.
