Introductory training inspired by manga and anime ninjas Held at the "Satsuma Ninja Study Group" from January 4 (Sat.) to 10 (Fri.), 2025!

The "Satsuma Ninja Study Group", a historical and cultural promotion content within Creative Performance BAN, will hold "Satsuma Ninja Mini Training Course" and "Indoor Shurikenjutsu Mini Training Course" this winter, following its implementation in the summer of 2024.

Before the Edo period, the word "ninja" was written as "shinobinomono", which is the same word as "spy" or "scout", but due to the influence of manga and novels, it has a strong image of a superhuman character.

The Satsuma Ninja Study Group has organized this mini training course based on this latter image.

Contents】(The duration of the course is one hour each)

Please select the course you would like to take from the following two options: "Satsuma Ninja Mini Training" and "Mini Indoor Shuriken Jutsu Experience".

(1) "Satsuma Ninja mini training

A brief introduction to the concept and practice of hidden weapons and body techniques from shuriken and blowgun.

(Shuriken Striking, Blowgun Making, Basic Koryu Kenjutsu)

(2) "Mini indoor shurikenjutsu experience

(Shuriken-uchi, Card Throwing, Stick Shuriken-uchi)

(Safety equipment will be used since the lesson is held indoors.)
