2. rating
A rating is a system for calculating a measure of a player's ability. The rating system used in this event is calculated by Iro Rating, which is used in many competitive games. 3.
Aim of the introduction of the common rating system
On December 10, 2023, a national tournament for the first Famista game was held at Doshisha University. Since then, tournaments have been held regularly in Tokyo and Osaka. By introducing an objective indicator for East and West, we have made it possible to see how well the original Famicom Star fared nationwide.
4. timing of adoption
The common rating is calculated based on the results of the games played in the Osaka Tournament on September 15 and the Tokyo Tournament on September 22.
(*The "First Famista East vs. West Tournament" to be held on October 26 will also be included in the ratings.

6. future development
If there are regions that regularly hold the first generation Famesta tournaments, and if there is mutual exchange between players with the Tokyo and Osaka tournaments, we are considering developing a common rating system for those regions as well.
7. comments from the rating administrator
We have a system that allows us to see who is stronger than we are, or how good we are in the whole country.
I would like to play with people who are stronger than me, or to find out how good I am in the country.
I would be happy if this gathering of Famicom enthusiasts could become a kind of "third place" for adults to play Famicom. 8.
