Chichibu Railway Company (Head office: Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture; President: Hidenobu Makino) will hold an event from November 1 (Fri.) to 30 (Sat.) to commemorate the use of Eiichi Shibusawa on the new 10,000 yen bill by lighting up the night in Nagatoro, a place associated with the late Mr. Shibusawa. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Nagatoro's designation as a national scenic beauty spot and a natural monument, and we aim to create an event that will last for the next 100 years. Details are as follows.

About "Nagatoro Autumn Night Tour 2024 - Blink of an eye to connect to the natural scenic spot 100 years from now"].

It is said that O Shibusawa Eiichi, whose portrait was used on the new 10,000 yen bill, often visited Nagatoro in search of healing. In this commemorative year of the issuance of the new 10,000 yen bill, the area associated with Eiichi Shibusawa will be illuminated with lights.

In addition to the lighting up, the event will also include the "Twilight Tea House BAR" serving Ichiro's Malt and other alcoholic beverages, tours to choose from in terms of enjoyment, and a stamp rally, allowing visitors to enjoy Nagatoro in the fall from daytime to nighttime.
