HealthMed, Inc. (Location: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture; CEO: Kenichi Fujishiro), a member of the DS Healthcare Group (Representative & CEO: Ikuo Samutake), acquired 90% of the shares of Raft System Co. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazutoshi Kiyokuni), a subsidiary of Raft System, and made it a consolidated subsidiary on the same day.

Background and Future Prospects

DS Healthcare Group regards the DX-ization of medical care as an important issue and is promoting various initiatives. In 2021, the Company entered the remote diagnostic imaging business, and in 2022, it developed and began providing a management support system for dental clinics.

In addition, we are considering the use of big data from the group companies' business, which includes support for more than 1.4 million dental visits and more than 100,000 dental checkups per year. We intend to promote the digitalization of healthcare, especially in the dental field, and to explore collaboration between dentistry, medicine and nursing care.

Through this M&A, we will bring in an IT company with a proven track record and know-how in system development and operation, and will fully strengthen our IT business to accelerate the speed of our operations.
