非営利型一般社団法人FA普及協会FAVT
FAVT, a non-profit general incorporated association for the dissemination of FA (located in Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture), has started intensified activities to call for the introduction of the "Provided Display and First Aid Kit FA" from October 1, 2024 (Tuesday).
Calling on companies nationwide to introduce the "First Aid Kit FA
Unlike conventional first-aid kits, we strongly encourage companies nationwide to introduce the "First Aid Kit FA with provided labeling," which is increasingly being installed in companies, offices, and vehicles as part of CSR/SDGs activities. This first aid kit is an important tool for fulfilling corporate social responsibility and contributing to local communities.
The "First Aid Kit FA" is the only first aid kit designed for mutual aid. Stickers indicate the location of the first aid kit and are intended to be provided quickly to those in need in the event of a disaster or accident. This first-aid kit was created not only for oneself, but also for mutual aid that connects people to each other.
In the future, we expect all businesses in Japan to introduce the "First Aid Kit FA with provided indication" in order to promote the idea that "one's preparedness can be a way to build a town where people help each other.

■Contribution as a CSR/SDGs activity
The "First Aid Kit FA" is not only a CSR/SDGs activity for stakeholders and local communities, but also fulfills the legal obligation for businesses to install and disseminate first aid kits in accordance with Article 633 of the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations (Anhei-Regulations). Many companies, organizations, governments, individuals, and shopping malls are promoting this activity as a community contribution activity, and it has been covered by the mass media.
Article 633 of the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations (Anhei-Rule) stipulates that business operators must keep first-aid kits and materials necessary for treating injured persons and inform workers of the location of the kits and how to use them.

■User's Voice
Mr. E, Fujisawa City, Tokyo
I usually drive with the FA sticker on my car. I now have more time to drive with the awareness that I am doing a good thing, not only for myself.
(Anonymous, Fukuoka, Japan)
I drive slower than usual, so I tend to get agitated, but since I put the FA sticker on, the cars behind me have been giving me more space, and I feel that they are now more mindful of my safety.
Anonymous (Shop), Tokyo, Japan
I have seen an improvement in the staff's awareness of their contribution to customers.
The product is in compliance with Article 633 of the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations, so we have been able to build a win-win-win relationship with our customers.
Anonymous (shopping district, Yokohama)
We have installed these in our stores and on our vehicles in the shopping arcade.
A customer actually fell in front of one of the stores and injured his hand, but the FA kit came in handy and he was very grateful. It is a very good product at a low price. I hope that this product will become more widely used in the future.
Anonymous (Company), Yokohama, Japan
The employees' awareness of safety and mutual aid has improved.
The number of accidents in the car has decreased, and insurance premiums have dropped.
Anonymous (kitchen car operator), Yokohama City, Japan
I did not know that there was an obligation to install first aid kits in kitchen cars.
Now we have cute stickers telling people that we have first aid kits and our customers tell us it's a good thing. We will continue to provide good food and peace of mind. Thank you very much.
The main feature of the "First Aid Kit FA," commonly known as "First Aid Kit FA with Provision Display," is the sticker that indicates the intention to provide the first aid kit to anyone in need. As this concept spreads throughout society, people can connect with each other and save many people in an emergency. Currently, the FA has received a great deal of sympathy throughout Japan, and is being spread by governments, companies, and individuals in their vehicles and stores.
