AQUA Co. (Head office: Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Nami Tokunaga), which operates 20 handmade bread stores mainly in Saitama Prefecture, will open "Boulanger Böörg (Börg)" in the Sekichu Ageo Store on September 25, 2024 (Wednesday).
The bakery offers more than 100 kinds of freshly baked breads handmade from dough to dough every day at the store.
With the opening of the Ageo store, all Bèg stores are scheduled to use a new flour blend made exclusively for Bèg, which will be blended with Hokkaido wheat.
(*September 25, 2024 (Wed.) will be the start date for the Sekichu Ageo store, Toyosu store, and Granma Cafe Maruhiro Department Store Minamiurawa store, with the other 17 stores to follow in due course.
More than 100 kinds of freshly baked breads handmade from dough every morning by boulangerie (bakers)
Boulangerbeig wants to deliver safe, delicious bread to people of all ages, from children to the elderly. With this in mind, we make our own dough from flour in our workshop every morning.
Our boulangerie (bakery) breads are soft to the touch and easy to eat, so they can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, and any other time of the day.
The Sekichu Ageo store has a spacious eat-in area with 12 seats.
The Bage Ageo store is located inside the TOP fresh food market, which is attached to the Sekichu Ageo store, a home solution center. The west side of the store is entirely covered with glass, allowing customers to shop at their leisure in a brightly lit store.
The store also has an eat-in space with 12 seats. The latest Italian coffee machine has been introduced. The machine grinds aromatic coffee beans of Beig's original roast right in front of your eyes, and drops them in boiling water. The harmony of delicious bread, coffee and tea! ◆Adoption of Hokkaido wheat flour blend (special baig flour) that accentuates the flavor of the bread
Bage conducted research and trial production of the newly adopted Bage flour in collaboration with Ebetsu Flour Milling Co. Ltd., a wheat milling company in Hokkaido. The main ingredient is Haruyokoi, a highly regarded variety of wheat produced in Hokkaido, and imported wheat was also added to the mix for repeated trial production.
This summer, we have completed a special flour for Böörg. By blending a certain amount of Hokkaido wheat with foreign wheat, the special flour enhances the flavor of the bread and provides a better texture and aroma of wheat compared to conventional products.
The special flour is used in more than 100 varieties of breads, all of which are made by the scratch method, in which artisans knead the dough from the flour in the store and bake the breads in an integrated process.
