【Background and Objectives】

◇Peace event held in conjunction with the International Day of Peace for the fourth consecutive year

September 21 is the International Day of Peace, a day to commemorate peace designated by the United Nations. In conjunction with this day, Yayoi Oguma, founding CEO of Bridge International Inc. has been holding events to encourage each individual to think about peace and convey the message of peace.

In 2021, "World Peace Summit - 10,000 Prayers" and in 2022, "World Peace Summit - 50,000 Prayers" were both held online.

In 2023, "World Peace Festival 2023" was held at Tsu Country Club, a golf course in Mie Prefecture, with more than 6,000 visitors including families. The festival featured stage performances, peace speeches, and attractions, and the finale was a fireworks display of approximately 500 shots to pray for peace.
