Hirota Golf to Launch New Domestic Soft Iron Forged Wedge Model on September 17 Aurora Plating Finish to Enjoy Light Color Change

Hirota Golf Co. (Location: Nishi-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture), a developer, manufacturer and seller of original golf equipment tools, will release a new model of soft-iron forged forged wedge on September 17.

Simple design head produced in Ichikawa-cho, Hyogo Prefecture, the birthplace of Japanese domestic golf production

The soft iron forged head is manufactured in Ichikawa-cho, the birthplace of the first domestically produced golf club.

This handmade series was finished by craftsmen in Ichikawa-cho, carefully polishing each one by one.

The simple design is designed to be used with care for many years to come, with only the FORGED engraving on the back face, the loft engraving on the sole, and the MADE IN JAPAN engraving on the neck as proof of domestic production.

This series will be sold as a non-engraved series without the product logo, which is also popular among Hirota Golf players.

■Sole with improved feel of swing through

Hirota Golf's HT-012 FORGED WEDGE has a mountain-shaped sole with the sole on the leading edge side boldly dropped by approximately 20°. Even if the sole goes a little deeper, it slides well and reduces mistakes.

The trailing edge side has also been dropped from toe to heel, allowing you to hit shots from any lie as you wish.

Aurora-plated finish with beautiful soft colors

A new plating finish that looks different depending on the light conditions, like an eggshell color, which was never seen before.

By leaving polishing marks on the back face side, this finish allows the user to enjoy the change in coloration under different light conditions.

The soft and gentle coloring is reminiscent of the aurora borealis, and we were able to bring this new finish to market after repeated failures.
