Ascentec Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Takashi Matsuura) announces Resalio Lynx 300 v7.0, an enhanced version of its Resalio Lynx thin client for virtual desktop applications (VDI) that supports a wide range of PCs with 13th and 14th generation Intel Core processors and enables remote configuration. The new version, "Resalio Lynx 300 v7.0," will begin shipping in August 2024. The product is scheduled to begin shipping on Monday, August 26, 2024.

With the spread of telework, the risk of endpoints being infected with malware such as ransomware and the risk of information leaks from endpoints is increasing. We offer the "Resalio Lynx" series, a dedicated OS that converts endpoints from existing PCs to thin clients when using virtual desktops (VDI). This reduces the risk of malware infection and information leakage, and also reduces the operational burden of endpoint management. The product has been adopted by many customers, including major financial institutions, and with the announcement of this new version, we believe that more customers will be able to use the product to prevent malware infection.

We have made research and development of original products an important part of our strategy. We will continue to develop products to solve endpoint security issues based on the use of virtual desktops and SaaS.

Hyper Thin Client

Resalio Lynx," developed by our company, provides a thin client OS as software, which can be installed on general-purpose PCs to form a low-cost and easy-to-use secure thin client. We have been developing and enhancing the functionality of this system for over 15 years.

The Resalio Lynx 300 v7.0 hyper thin client is equipped with a proprietary secure browser that enables VDI access, web conference access, SaaS access, and remote PC access simultaneously.
