The TOKYO Gundam Project 2024 Executive Committee (Tokyo Port Terminal Corporation, Tokyo Rinkai Holdings, Inc. and others) will continue to develop activities this year to contribute to the revitalization of the Tokyo waterfront subcenter area and the development of global human resources.

This fall, the "TOKYO GUNDAM FESTIVAL" for high school students will be held at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. Specifically, the festival will consist of two programs, "English Guide" and "High School Performance," in which high school students will provide English sightseeing guides and perform club activities to deepen "hospitality" and international exchange with the power of Tokyo's younger generation. The English guided sightseeing tours and performances by high school students will deepen "Omotenashi" (hospitality) and international exchange.

In addition, a stamp rally will be held at the same time, where visitors can complete the Unicorn Gundam by stamping on the stamps while touring around the spots in Rinkai Fukutoshin. This is a fun and easy way for first-time visitors and visitors from overseas to participate in the event.

In addition, in cooperation with Tokyo University of the Arts, recycled art will be created using runners (the frames of plastic models) after Gundam models have been made. Through the recycled art, together with fans who love Gundam and plastic models, the message of the SDGs, which contributes to the realization of a sustainable society through familiar things, will be conveyed.

＜English Guide＞

High school students will introduce the life-size Unicorn Gundam standing statue, the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam", and tourist information of the Rinkai Fukutoshin area in English to foreign tourists. The program will be held in the vicinity of the life-size Unicorn Gundam standing statue in the Festival Plaza on the 2nd floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza for two months starting in October this fall. Prior to the tour, participants will learn English at the "TOKYO GLOBAL GATEWAY (TGG)," a hands-on English learning facility.

This year, for the first time, we plan to accept participation from high school students outside of Tokyo (for details, please refer to the official website).

＜High School Performance

At the same time, near the life-size Unicorn Gundam statue in the Festival Plaza on the 2nd floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, high school students will take the lead roles in cheerleading, Japanese drumming, calligraphy, martial arts, and other daily club activities.

Stamp Rally

A stamp rally will be held, not only in the vicinity of the life-size Unicorn Gundam standing statue, but also at other spots in Rinkai Fukutoshin, where visitors can complete the visual of the life-size Unicorn Gundam standing statue. This is a project that anyone, including domestic and foreign tourists, can easily participate in on the spot.
