The "Nagayoshi Miyoshi Samurai Parade in Daito" is a citizen-driven event in which Nagayoshi Miyoshi plays the leading role and parades through Daito City. Last year, about 200 people participated in the parade, which was included in a tour by a travel agency, dressed as warriors and ninjas, and the event was a great success.

For this year's event, the ninth in the series, it was decided to recruit leading roles from among foreign nationals, such as workers and foreign students from all over Japan, in order to recreate the cosmopolitan city of that time, derived from the fact that the Iimori Castle area was known overseas as a "holy place" after Nagayoshi Miyoshi allowed Christians to evangelize the area at that time. Iimori Castle was located on the top of Mt. Iimori, which straddles Daito City and Shijonawate City, and he ruled over the Kinai and Shikoku regions.

In history, it was believed that Oda Nobunaga was the first to use stone walls in castle construction, but a survey conducted by the city revealed stone walls covering a wide area, indicating that he was the predecessor of Oda Nobunaga, and the Iimori Castle ruins were designated as a national historic site.
