A co-working space with a basketball court: the grand opening of "ballaholic Hub FUKUOKA" produced by ballaholic

Outnumber Inc. (located in Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Hirohiko Onoda) will open "ballaholic Hub FUKUOKA" in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka, a facility designed to serve as a hub for new basketball communities. Created with the concept of "a space where basketball is the center of everyday life," ballaholic Hub FUKUOKA is a co-working space where hoopers can work, study, train, shop, and play basketball all under the same roof. For basketball lovers, it provides a natural and ideal space where they can come spend time to enjoy and be in touch with basketball within their daily lives. 

Features of ballaholic Hub FUKUOKA

1. Basketball court

The most attractive feature of ballaholic Hub FUKUOKA is the basketball court located in the center of the facility. It measures approximately 20m x 12m and is equipped with three hoops, which in principle can be used by visitors at any time. The hoops are provided by "HOMECOURT," a court and goal installation service, also ran by Outnumber Inc.

2. Co-working & study space

A co-working & study space is located on the second floor. This space can be used for remote work and meetings as well as studying for students. If your mind ever needs a break, go downstairs for a few minutes of physical activity on the basketball court or the gym to improve blood flow, then head back upstairs to work and study at a more efficient rate.

3. Bar counter & rental counter

Visitors can order soft drinks with no charge. Some drinks, including alcohol, are available for a fee. Pizza is also available for those craving a light meal. The bar counter can be used as a place to refresh after work or study, or as a place to socialize after a game of basketball. Basketballs, shoes, and other rental items are also available.

4. Basketball shop

A "ballaholic Courtside Shop" will be set up at the entrance of the facility to serve as a mini-ballaholic store. The store will offer the latest ballaholic apparel and accessories, which visitors can conveniently purchase for immediate use.

5. Gym area

The gym area will feature a variety of training equipment, including running machines and bikes. The basic equipment are sufficient to serve as a distraction from work and study or to support physical strength training for basketball players.

6. Events

The facility will hold various basketball events, including "SOMECITY FUKUOKA" the streetball league, as well as other fun events planned on a regular basis to revitalize the community.

We aim to make this facility a place where the community can deepen their bonds through basketball, grow together, and live a more fulfilling life.

Opening Events

The following events will be held to celebrate the grand opening. 

Pop-up sales event (bMARKET)

We will hold a ballaholic pop-up sale event at "Mark's Fukuoka Momochi" for three days on July 26 (Fri.), 27 (Sat.), and 28 (Sun.). The pop-up will highlight re-sale of shoes that were sold out in the past and a selection of out-of-size items. This is the first full-scale pop-up event for ballaholic in the Fukuoka area. Customers who purchase at this pop-up event will be able to attend the following opening reception.

Opening Reception

An invitation-only opening reception called the "TIP OFF PARTY" will be held at ballaholic Hub FUKUOKA on the evening of July 28th. bMARKET purchasers will receive an invitation to this reception. Attendees will be able to enjoy drinks and light refreshments while touring the facility and mingling with guests. A 1-on-1 event will also be going down!
