LAC Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Itsuro Nishimoto; hereinafter "Rack") will provide its proprietary cloud security monitoring solution "CloudFalcon" to EneWings Security Management (EWSM), a monitoring and operation support service for security equipment (UTM: Unified Threat Management) to be offered from August 26, 2024 by EneCom, Inc. (Enecom) will provide CloudFalcon, a cloud-based security monitoring solution originally developed by LAC, to EneWings Security Management (EWSM), a UTM (Unified Threat Management) monitoring and operation support service that will be offered by Enecom from August 26, 2024.
In recent years, companies are facing various security threats due to the rapid progress and diversification of digitalization and increasingly sophisticated cyber-attack methods. In particular, companies and municipalities far from metropolitan areas, where cutting-edge technologies cannot reach, lack technical knowledge and expertise. Attackers find organizations with weak security measures and launch attacks, causing damage even in rural areas, regardless of the size of the organization. In light of this situation, LAC provides ENECOM with its expertise, technology, and know-how. Enecom will deploy security operation services for organizations in the region, aiming to build a sustainable and secure business infrastructure.
CloudFalcon, originally developed by Lack, is a cloud-based security monitoring solution. It enables companies that do not have their own cyber security experts to use low-cost, high-quality security monitoring. By monitoring and analyzing the logs of UTM devices monitored by EneWings Security Management through CloudFalcon, customers will be able to detect cyber threats and promptly respond to them.
LAC is promoting collaboration with strong local IT vendors to enhance security for local organizations. This business collaboration with Enecom is part of this effort, and together with the company, we will contribute to solving security issues in the region.
