Samurai Cruiser Launches New Service for "Car-Borne Adventures" Abroad 　Outdoor tours in Hokkaido, Japan, are also planned.

Shin-O Co., Ltd. will begin offering a new service to fulfill the wish to "drive your car overseas. The first service will start with a round trip to Australia.

Last year, "Samurai Cruiser" successfully completed a three-month, 30,000-km adventure on the Australian continent in a Land Cruiser 40 brought to Australia from Japan. Shin-O Corporation, the parent company of Samurai Cruiser, has announced the launch of a new service that will serve as a guide for new adventures.

The company was originally in the business of importing and exporting to and from overseas, and this new service will make it possible to use the know-how gained from their adventures in Australia to travel around the country in their own car.

From May to August 2023, we brought two of our beloved Land Cruiser 40s, which we normally use, from Japan to Australia, and drove around the red earth for 3 months/30,000 km without running into any trouble.

It is very difficult to realize the style of traveling overseas in one's own car without specialized knowledge and experience, including import/export of vehicles. This new service will support those who plan to "drive abroad with their car". The service will start with a round trip to Australia.

The service will be offered in two ways: for companies and for individuals. The first service for companies is already scheduled to depart in December 2024.

It will be used as part of one company's welfare package, and Samurai Cruiser will support the trip there.

Applications for individuals are scheduled to begin in March 2025, with the cost of a round-trip trip from Japan to Australia starting at 2 million yen, depending on the exchange rate at that time. The cost includes round-trip shipping and all necessary applications and procedures. (Local travel expenses are not included in the cost.)

In Japan, we are also planning to implement an outdoor tour service combining various 4WD rentals and various activities in the Hokkaido area. We plan to start accepting applications for this service this winter or next spring.

Visitors will be able to choose from a variety of four-wheel drive vehicles, including rare old and new Land Cruisers, and travel with a guide through the vast nature of Hokkaido.
