Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, one of the world's leading mountain tourism routes connecting Toyama and Nagano prefectures (operated by Tateyama Kurobe Kanko Co. (Cooperation: Toyama Prefecture). The event will also allow visitors to enjoy the world of the animated film "Wolf Children" which beautifully depicts the great nature of Tateyama Kurobe.

About the Collaboration Project

The scenery of Tateyama and Murodo-daira depicted in the 2012 animated film "Wolf Children" continues to attract many visitors. The fact that the great nature of Tateyama Kurobe exists unchanged is proof that the spirit of Tateyama worship and the Nature Park Law have been handed down from generation to generation, and that the people involved in the Company and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route have continued to work together in various efforts to achieve the goal of "balancing development of Tateyama with nature conservation and environmental preservation. To ensure that Tateyama Kurobe continues to be a place where "people can grow and live in harmony with nature," we have decided to launch this project with STUDIO CHIZU LLP.

Part 1...Meet the scenery of the movie Wolf Children! Let's go see the Mikurigaike Pond!

The first event is that after watching the Mikurigaike Pond, you can get a card at the "Mikurigaike Onsen" in Murodo-daira. This is a summer-only event. How about taking a summer-only card collaborating with the movie as a souvenir of your trip? This is an event recommended for summer visitors who can feel closer to the nature of Tateyama Kurobe by enjoying a walk around Mikurigaike Pond, the setting of the movie.

What is the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route?

A mountain tourism route in the Chubu-Sangaku National Park, Tateyama. Between Tateyama Station in Toyama Prefecture and Ogisawa in Nagano Prefecture, visitors can easily enjoy the spectacular view above the clouds by taking various vehicles such as the Tateyama Kogen Bus, which runs through the snowy valley, and the Tateyama Tunnel Trolley Bus, the only trolley bus currently in operation in Japan.
