Background

Nijiiro House is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the quality of life in the community by providing a "comfortable place" for children who find it difficult to learn and live, while valuing each person's individuality.

Together, we can create a community-based symbiotic society! we have launched this project to provide a place for children (where children with and without disabilities can interact together) and a comfortable place for adults in the community to stop by.

We provide the support necessary for individual development while practicing activities that emphasize what children want to do and what they want to try. A place where children can experience independence and a sense of accomplishment through activities in their rooms, on the terrace, in the different age groups, in the fields, and in other facilities of their choice. The staff will support the children in each place so that it will be a scene where they can enjoy human connections.

～A safe and secure place for all children who are developing the "ability to survive" toward future independence.

Children's difficulties are difficult to deal with at home or at school alone, and in some cases, the difficulties originate at home or at school in the first place. Therefore, by providing a "third place for children" outside of home and school during after-school hours, when children tend to be isolated, we nurture their "ability to survive" toward future independence, while providing a safe place for them to interact with trusted adults and friends.
