kiondHiroshima is a hands-on facility with the theme of "wood" and "wood education. The concept of the facility is to be a "power spot for everyone" with the hope of delivering energy and smiles through various experiences with wood. An indoor playground bursting with children's smiles, known as "Kino Park. The playground equipment and interior are made of cypress, cedar, and other timbers in abundance. Children's senses are stimulated during play, such as the smell of wood and the sensation of touching it, which nurtures their sensitivity and creativity.

The Library Cafe is a place where visitors can enjoy a relaxing read while smelling the fragrance of wood. The walls of the café are lined with approximately 800 books selected according to six themes.

The LibraryCafe houses approximately 800 books under the theme of "a library in the park that connects the town, people, and nature, and where vitality resides. Visitors to the café are free to read books at their leisure. The selection of books is produced by SPBS, a comprehensive book and editorial company, and is divided into six categories: "Create," "Play," "Learn," "Connect," "Hiroshima," and "Genki. The "Genki" bookshelf introduces "books that inspire" selected by kiond staff members with comments, and is a place where people who gather at kiond Hiroshima can express their interest in the city and trees, and express their desire to "do something" and "learn more! Workshop
Visitors can try their hand at making things out of wood. A variety of workshops are available for both adults and children, including a chopstick-making workshop and a workshop where visitors can learn about traditional crafts.
