Sixty-four countries and regions are members of the International Kendo Federation and 61 countries and regions are scheduled to participate in the tournament, which will be held in Milan, Italy, from July 4 to 7, 2024. In the team competitions, 59 men's teams and 45 women's teams are scheduled to enter, for a total of 649 team entries. In the individual competition, 242 men and 203 women will compete for the championship.
