Space Medical Accelerator Association
Space Medical Accelerator (Location: Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Representative Director: Masayuki Goto), a general incorporated association aiming to create space businesses in the medical healthcare field, is participating in the global space healthcare business platform ‘2024 Humans In Space Challenge’, as an expert company in space healthcare.
The Humans In Space (HIS) Challenge is an idea competition led by Boryung, a Korean healthcare investment company, to support startup companies and researchers who are working to solve healthcare and medical challenges associated with deep space human exploration, as well as medical challenges on the ground through the use of space. This year marks the third year of the program.
In this program, we have decided to support startup companies and researchers who are taking on new medical challenges in space by reviewing the ideas of applicants based on our extensive knowledge of space medicine.
