Unified Services Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Eiji Uda, President & CEO; hereinafter "the Company"), a provider of industry cloud and digital marketing services, announces that it has developed and launched a CIS (Customer Information System) as a cloud service for TEPCO Energy Partners (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Momoko Nagasaki, President & CEO; hereinafter "TEPCO EP", honorifics omitted) to develop and launch a CIS (Customer Information System) as a cloud service centered on electricity rate calculation for corporate customers.

Background

The recent changes and intensification of the competitive environment in the electric power retail industry have made it important to consider optimal information systems that not only enhance the stability and efficiency of the power supply, which has been the mainstream up to now, but also provide flexible and prompt responses and cost reductions.

In particular, the importance of more detailed responses to corporate customers has increased, such as the appeal of market price-linked menus, which arises from the risk perspective of electricity retailers in addition to the needs of customers, due to the sharp rise in oil prices based on geopolitical risks, soaring electricity prices due to power supply shortages, reversal of the supply-demand balance due to the introduction of renewable energy, and other factors. The importance of more detailed support for corporate customers has increased. Therefore, it has become more important to respond to the diversification of rate menus to meet customer needs. We have continued to be commissioned to perform bidding operations under Article 7 of the "Act on Special Measures concerning the Procurement of Renewable Electricity by Operators of Electric Utilities" from the initial construction in 2017 to the present, while making functional improvements to respond to requests for functional improvements that arise every year.

Support system for preparing applications for certification of tax reduction/exemption
