Yoshimi Tendo
Tendo made her professional debut at the age of 15 with the song "Daichan Kaeru Uta," an insert song for the anime "Inokapeta Taisho" (The General of Inokapeta). In 1996, "Jindo Monogatari" became a big hit, selling 1.3 million copies. She was the first female singer in history to win the Japan Record Award for Best Song three times, and has performed in the red group at the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen three times. Last year, she made her debut on the silver screen as an actress, appearing in three films during the year, including "Sho de Saitama" and making her first appearance in a musical, and in commercials, she was selected for "MEGABIG" this year instead of "Namaetera Akan~" throat lozenges. She is also very active outside of singing as a character loved by the tea ceremony audience.
