Honda Technical College Kansai, an automotive college of the automaker Honda, will distribute free of charge an original notebook, "Career Exploration Notebook," to approximately 14,000 first-year high school students in Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, and Wakayama prefectures from May 27, 2024. The notebook will be distributed free of charge from May 27, 2024.

The original "Shinji Shiken Notebook" was started to support high school students' dreams for the future from 2020. The notebook is designed to provide high school students with an opportunity to think about the career they want to pursue in the future by first taking a look at what they like to do, how what they like to do leads to a job, and how further mastering what they like to do can become a weapon that others cannot defeat.

A new workbook has also been added to the program, which allows students to check how their thinking about their career path has changed from their past (when they were in elementary and junior high school) and how it has changed now that they are in high school, and to write down what they will do in the future.

In addition, four other on-site classes for first- and second-year high school students were also added: "(1) Honda employees talk about career exploration with work as the keyword," "(2) Learn how to use money to make your dreams come true by the age of 18," "(3) Learn business skills: Sharpen your commercial mind and become a future manager," and "(4) Learn about new energy hydrogen and experience next-generation automobiles in a simulated classroom setting. This notebook introduces the classes of "Learn about new energy hydrogen and experience a mock-up of a next-generation automobile in the classroom" and also allows students to apply for the classes.

We hope that you will make use of the "Shoreline Exploration Notebook" when you are in high school and considering your choice of literature or science, or when you are considering your career path.
