The new winged design makes it difficult to slip out of place and is recommended for those who want to be active.

Light incontinence is a problem for many women.

Light incontinence is a condition in which urine leaks out when one unexpectedly exerts pressure on the lower abdomen, such as when coughing or sneezing. In fact, it is said that women of all ages experience and suffer from this problem.

We have been selling a series of sanitary napkins called "Natura Moon" since 2011, and about two years after its launch, we began to receive many requests for a product to care for light incontinence.

According to data from a research firm, users are increasingly interested in and aware of the category of "absorbent care products" that can be attached to underwear to prevent light incontinence, with overall sales growing by approximately 30% over the past several years.

Commitment to Non-Polymer Products in Response to Users' Opinions

The Naturamoon series does not use polymer absorbents (petroleum-derived water-absorbing polymers) and its top sheet is made of 100% natural cotton, which is highly regarded by health-conscious and nature-conscious customers.

We had been working on the development of this new product with repeated prototyping to achieve the same specifications as the series products, but it was difficult to create a non-polymer absorbent product that could provide light incontinence care, and it took time to reach a satisfactory result. During the course of prototyping, we experimented with plant-derived polymers, which have less of an environmental impact, but they were not stable and we were unable to develop a product.

After a long period of repeated prototyping and improvement, we were finally able to develop this new product.

Our Commitment to Organic Cotton - Aiming to Realize the SDGs

In developing this product, we were very conscious of the need to create "sustainable products that are friendly to people and the environment," with the aim of realizing the SDGs. We are particular about the cotton used for the top sheet, which is in direct contact with the skin, and use organic cotton produced without agricultural chemicals.

Organic cotton does not use pesticides in the production process, so there is no physical burden on the producer or burden on the soil environment caused by pesticides.

The cotton used in this product is high quality organic cotton from the United States, where production is limited and rare, and has acquired "Certified to OE Blended Standard Certification". It is soft and gentle on the skin.
