The "Taiwan Festival in Kyoto 2024" will be held at AEON MALL KYOTO in front of Kyoto Station for the first time in Kyoto from March 20, 2024 (Wednesday, national holiday) to May 6, 2024 (Monday, national holiday).

The first time in Kyoto, it will be held at AEON MALL KYOTO in front of Kyoto Station. We hope that this event will contribute to the exchange between Japan and Taiwan by offering a variety of authentic Taiwanese night market gourmet foods of the utmost deliciousness and allowing visitors to experience Taiwan through its "food". This year's Taiwan Festival will be held in Kyoto, one of Japan's most popular tourist destinations, where local residents and visitors from home and abroad will be able to enjoy authentic Taiwanese cuisine.

The most popular gourmet food of the Taiwan Festival, which has been expanding mainly in the Kanto region and offering the charm of real Taiwan, will be served in Kyoto.

The "Xiaolongbao" is a popular Taiwanese gourmet dish, with a thin, soft skin wrapped in red bean paste and overflowing with rich juices; the "Da Chien Chai" is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and is so big you could hide your face in it; the "Lunghu Rice" is a pork belly stewed in a sweet and spicy sauce and rice soaked in this sauce that you cannot stop eating until the last bite; and the "Lunghu Bao" is a soft steamed bun with a sweet and sour sauce and rice that you cannot stop eating.
