Exterior view of Atami Mini Yokocho
Atami Mini Yokocho will open in April 2022 as a yokocho style stall village where various stalls will gather. In January 2024, the "Atami Mini Yokocho" opened with the concept of a "survival-style food stall village" where only the most popular stalls survive and the less popular stalls have to leave. In January 2024, "Atami Mini Yokocho," a fusion of the surviving yakimono stalls, alcohol stalls, and amusement stalls, began operating as a stand-alone izakaya-style store. It has been well received not only by local and national tourists, but also by foreign visitors to Japan, and has grown into a very popular restaurant that is fully booked all day long.
This renewal was all handmade and a major remodeling was done, and the alcoholic beverages were fully launched as a decoration. To further satisfy our customers, we have expanded our menu to 100 different types of drinks using carefully selected ingredients from Izu, our hometown, and other parts of Japan, and we have also added a large scale liquor cabinet to display and procured 100 new types of sake, including secret old sake from our warehouse, for a total of over 300 types, which is an overwhelmingly large number! We have prepared an overwhelmingly varied beverage menu of more than 300 varieties. We will entertain you with a "heaven of sake and snacks" that will satisfy even the most discriminating drinker. In addition, we have greatly expanded the amusement corner, which is filled with the kind of fun that can only be found in Japan's leading hot spring resorts. Please visit the store to find out what kind of fun you can expect.

The most talked-about store in the area, selling Atami Onsen poison buns.
The root of "Atami Mini Yokocho" is "Atami Onsen Poison Manju," which is kneaded with dokudami, a famous Japanese herb with detoxifying properties. The bun store, which began selling the buns in 2018 as the first step in creating a new attraction for Atami Onsen, has changed its form and evolved into "Atami Mini Yokocho". Immediately after its launch, "Atami Onsen Poisonous Manjuu" became a huge hit, reaching its daily sales target of 450,000 yen in one hour thanks to TV and other media coverage, and became a beloved new souvenir of Atami. Currently, production and sales are temporarily suspended due to soaring raw material costs, but sales are scheduled to resume at "Atami Mini Yokocho" by the end of FY2024.

~Aiming to be a constantly evolving izakaya
Our vision for Izu Peninsula Godo Kaisha is to value local traditions and culture while constantly evolving. Our role is to discover the traditional culture and ingredients that lie dormant in the local area, add new ideas to them, and bring them to the world.
With this in mind, the challenge of Izu Peninsula Godo Kaisha, which began as a bun store selling "Atami Onsen Poison Buns" to create new Atami attractions, has evolved into "Atami Mini Yokocho," a stall village where various stalls engage in friendly competition for survival in a survival style. Then, after transforming itself into an izakaya (Japanese-style pub) that combines popular food stalls, it has evolved into a popular spot in Atami where customers can enjoy not only the local delicacies of Atami, Shizuoka, but also carefully selected ingredients and alcoholic beverages from all over Japan. We will continue to evolve "Atami Mini Yokocho" so that visitors from Japan and abroad can enjoy the ultimate gourmet experience in Atami. Please look forward to its future development.
