AdPower, "Static Suppression Sheet for vehicles," Launches Sales in China ~Development progressed through research with universities and research institutions
アドパワー・ソリューションズ株式会社
AdPower Solutions Inc. (https://adpower-global.com/), a manufacturer and distributor of the AdPower series of static electricity suppression parts for vehicles (located at 1-216 Nibancho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; hereinafter referred to as "AdPower"), will begin sales to China on February 26, 2024.
Up to now, AdPower has established overseas sales agencies in South Korea, Mongolia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Kenya, Tanzania, and other countries, and has been selling its products through these agencies.
In order to strengthen overseas sales from 2022, we are currently selling to Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and the Philippines through cross-border EC, and China becoming the sixth country.
As a result of progress in research and development with universities and research institutions, the static electricity suppression effects of AdPower are now being recognised not only in Japan but also overseas.
■What is AdPower?
There are two types of AdPower products.
''AdPower" for vehicles
''AdPower" for vehicles suppresses static electricity in the air cleaner box and air ducts, improving the intake air flow. The static suppression effect of AdPower on engine intake air has been well appreciated and it continues to be a bestseller on Amazon and Yahoo! Shopping in Japan.
''AdPower Sonic" for audio equipment and musical instruments
''AdPower Sonic'' is a sound quality improvement sheet applied to speakers, amplifiers and other audio equipment, and musical instruments such as wind instruments.

We are fully committed to research and development
Product development was initiated in 2013, and after repeated trial and error, AdPower for vehicles was born in 2016.
Research with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tokai University started in 2019, and although it was a continuous process of trial and error due to verification in a new field, as a result of our research together with the members of the laboratory, we have proven the effectiveness of suppressing static electricity in the intake air at the engine and improving the air flow.
In 2020, the product received the Good Design Award, and along with the research results, many users, mainly in Japan, have come to appreciate and use the static electricity suppression effect of AdPower.
However, in February 2023, we received a measure order under the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations. We submitted the results of our research on new findings with universities and other organisations that we and we have conducted research with, but we received a decision that it was not widely recognised by the academic and industrial worlds, and we took this seriously and took the opportunity to push forward with even more research and development.
■AdPower's Research and Development continues Further
We, as well as several universities and other research institutions, focus on and evaluate the effectiveness of AdPower and its potential.
Research on AdPower for vehicles began in 2022 with the Wakimoto Laboratory, Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Chiba Institute of Technology, and AdPower Sonic for audio conducted verification at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in 2022, following which research will also begin in 2023 with the Acoustics&Signal Processing Labs (Nishiura Laboratory), College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University.
Furthermore, research on the effects of AdPower Sonic's sound quality improvement on musical instruments has been conducted since the beginning of 2024, focusing on more artistic expression and sensory satisfaction, as well as scientific and numerical approaches to research. The research exchange with Prof. Hiroshige Oikawa (Professor at International University of Kagoshima), who was the principal oboe player of the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra in Germany for 30 years, has started and is currently making steady progress.
