CODE BLUE 2024

CODE BLUE is an international cybersecurity conference where top class experts from Japan and the world gather. The conference provides state-of-the-art lectures by cybersecurity experts and opportunities for information exchange and interaction that transcend national and language barriers.By bringing together the world's top-level experts active in a variety of fields, we aim to revitalize and strengthen cooperation of cybersecurity in Asia and foster excellent young researchers in Japan and Asia.

CODE BLUE 2024, now in its 12th year, will hold training sessions from November  9th to 13th at Waim Rental Room Takadanobaba, and the conference from November 14th to 15th at Bellesalle Takadanobaba. There will also be workshops, contests, sponsor booths, networking parties, and more. This year, we will hold the conference in-person, and will not be streaming online.

<Features of CODE BLUE 2024>

1) Cutting-edge research and surveys on cybersecurity from multiple perspectives

We will provide cutting-edge presentations in the areas of technical, cybercrime prevention, law & policy, and introduction of open source tools/projects (Bluebox). In addition, sponsor companies will also give talks (Open Talks). Simultaneous Japanese-English interpretation will also be provided.

2) Training is back for the first time since 2018!

The training, which has been well received at previous CODE BLUE events, will be back after a six-year absence. There will be several courses that have gone through the scrutiny of the review board. This will be a rare opportunity to learn advanced cybersecurity skills directly from specialists working in the front lines.

3) Visitor Tickets are back for 2024

This year, the venue area has been greatly expanded compared to last year. In addition to conference tickets for listening to lectures, visitor tickets limited to sponsor booths and contest areas will be available, allowing more people to attend the event.

4) Efforts to nurture the next generation

In addition to the general call for paper (CFP), CODE BLUE also offers a U25 slot for young engineers and researchers under the age of 25. The excellent speakers are selected through a rigorous screening process and are awarded a Research and Development Scholarship.

In addition, we accept student staff for event operations, which helps students to experience the international conference and also contributes to student interactions with each other. More information on CFP and student staff  recruitment will be announced at a later date.

Early bird Registration for conference and visitor ticket begins on March 6th (Wednesday). We look forward to your participation.
