Collaboration with KADOKAWA! Ira-chan 10th Birth Anniversary ～Comic "Demon Girls Guardians Serialization starts on February 27~!

Island Co. (Representative: Masayoshi Kwon, President and CEO, Headquarters: Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture), a company that delivers entertainment by connecting people with people and people with society, is pleased to announce a special collaboration with KADOKAWA Co.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Island's original character "Ayla," a new original comic book will be produced and serialized in "Comic Newtype" starting February 27, 2024.

Ayla-chan (center), along with Hana-chan (left) and Shima-chan, has been active in various situations provided by Island, including TV animation, web comics, merchandise development, and LINE stamps.

This is the first attempt to combine KADOKAWA's extensive comic production know-how with Island's unique character world. The setting is a parallel world where the dark fantasy world and the real world go back and forth. The original story is written by Okina Jinno and illustrated by Seto Ririura, who will present a new story of Ayla and her friends with a detailed script by the Newtype editorial department and Mr. Jinno and a fascinating worldview by Mr. Ririura. The work will expand the world of the girls, many of whom have been comical characters, and deepen the bond between fans and readers.
