As a charity activity for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024, model Makiko Takizawa has teamed up with a local company in Ishikawa Prefecture and started selling a "Cheering Box" on February 8, 2024 (Thu) through a live broadcast on Instagram.

The impetus for the project

Makiko Takizawa had visited Kanazawa in December 2023 to produce and sell her original Kutani-yaki pottery. One month later, the earthquake occurred. While starting with what she could do herself, such as making donations, she wondered if there was anything she could do as one of the people who felt the charm of Ishikawa Prefecture.

More than a month has passed since the disaster, and the number of times news of the earthquake has been covered has been decreasing. It is precisely because of this timing that it is important to communicate the attractiveness of the region so that it can lead to ongoing support. Ishikawa Prefecture has many attractive products. We have selected these products in the hope of raising donations while conveying the appeal of these products.

In planning this project, we formed a project team with Teshima Seeklinde of Office Schneider, which conducts PR and branding business for local companies in Ishikawa Prefecture.

The project team worked with a variety of companies to create a wonderful box.
