The Okinawa City Tourism and Sports Promotion Division will hold the Hiroshima Toyo Carp's spring training camp in Okinawa from February 15 (Thu) to February 27 (Tue), 2024 at the Koza Shinkin Stadium (Koza Athletic Park). On the day after the practice game on Sunday, February 18, "KOZA Night," an event featuring a talk show and live performance by former Hiroshima Toyo Carp player Tomohiro Abe, will also be held.

Many professional baseball teams hold their camps in Okinawa every February. The Hiroshima Toyo Carp has held its spring training camp in Okinawa City for more than 40 years, and the city has long been familiar to Okinawan citizens. In addition, the camp in Okinawa is closer to the ground than the stadium in Hiroshima, providing a great opportunity to see the players' serious expressions and smiles and conversations up close.

Koza Shinkin Stadium" is familiar to many baseball fans.

The stadium is famous as the spring training camp for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp's first-team baseball team, which takes place every February. The stadium has a capacity of 15,000 people, with natural grass in the outfield and an arched roof behind the net. The stadium is about an hour's drive from Naha Airport, and can also be accessed by the Okinawa City Circulation Bus.
