Seminar Summary

At the 12th SCRUM HIROSHIMA seminar, Mr. Sugiura gave a lecture on the theme of "Creating Profit from Zero Value! Generating Profit from Zero Value", there were lectures, workshops, and time for exchange among companies by three companies involved in the "circular bioeconomy", which aims for sustainable coexistence with nature through the recycling of resources and other activities. The lectures were given by Ito En, which is engaged in the development of soundproofing panels containing tea leaves, and Aohata, which has been utilizing unused portions of raw fruit materials since its establishment. The presentation included examples of business opportunities such as the creation of new businesses that create new value from discarded materials and improved production efficiency.
