Background of Lunch Menu Renewal
According to the "Survey on Trends for Promoting Inbound Food Culture (FY2022) "*1 announced by the Agency for Cultural Affairs in May 2023, the number of foreign visitors to Japan is increasing, and many of them are staying in Japan to enjoy food. Tourist destinations are expected to develop attractive products and menus and improve their services, and there is a growing need for food ingredients and dishes unique to the region.
Against this backdrop, we have developed a lunch menu that allows tourists from Japan and abroad to enjoy a variety of foods in the limited time they have during their stay in Hakata and Kyushu in a single meal.

Lunch Menu Overview
The new menu, with the catchphrase, "Yamaya's Kyushu Samadai: Luxury Lunch to Taste Kyushu All at Once," offers a choice of three main dishes: wagyu beef, conger eel, or sea bream from Kyushu, along with Yamaya's specialties, "dehydrated mentai" and "dashimaki omelet," which are made from freshly pickled fish, to give you a taste of the deliciousness of the Kyushu region at its finest. This is a luxurious Ojyu style of serving. The "dashimaki tamago-yaki" is made with YAMAYA's original "umadashi," which is made from carefully selected domestic ingredients including "goblin," a specialty of Kyushu. The ojyu is served with warm dashi, which can also be enjoyed as dashi chazuke.
The set also includes a small pot of "Hakata Motsunabe" using only the small intestines of Japanese black beef.
Please enjoy a special lunch time in a liberating space overlooking Nakasu while savoring the charms of Hakata, Kyushu, and Yamaya.
