The snow cover in Tateyama Murodo, the main venue of the Snow Wall Festival, is higher than that of the same period last year, so the snow wall is expected to be higher than last year.

What is the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route?

A mountain tourism route in the Chubu-Sangaku National Park, Tateyama. Between Tateyama Station in Toyama Prefecture and Ogisawa in Nagano Prefecture, visitors can easily enjoy the spectacular scenery of nature while taking various vehicles such as the Tateyama Kogen Bus, which runs through the snowy valley, and the Tateyama Tunnel Trolleybus, the only trolleybus currently in operation in Japan.
