LINE Yahoo Communications Corporation (headquartered in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City; hereinafter "LINE Yahoo Communications") and neuet Corporation (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City; hereinafter "neuet"), operator of the "Chari-Cycle" shared bicycle service, will collaborate to build a new bicycle parking port in Fukuoka City where users can rent and return shared bicycles. The "Onegai Chari-Chari," a user-participation initiative that utilizes user requests collected via the communication application "LINE" (hereafter "LINE" application), will be used to build new bicycle parking ports that will allow users to rent and return shared bicycles in Fukuoka City! The "I wish I had a port" campaign was launched on April 25, 2023 (Tuesday). As a result, more than 5,000 requests were received through the "LINE" application, and 15 ports have been newly established to date. To commemorate this, a gift campaign will be launched on February 8 as a token of our appreciation to those who participated in the project.

Voices Collected via the LINE App Take Shape: New Bicycle Parking Ports Created by Citizens

The new port was created based on the voices of users collected through the official LINE account.

The "Please Chari-Chari" campaign was launched in March 2011! Port" is a collaborative project launched on April 25, 2023 (Tuesday) by the two companies to improve the convenience of living in Fukuoka. Users can nominate new port locations by adding friends to the official Charichari LINE account (LINE ID: @charichari), answering simple questions, and submitting location information and photos.

After neuet reviewed the more than 5,000 requests received through this function and visualized the needs of the users, we confirmed the locations of the ports and discussed with the managers of the recommended sites.

These newly constructed ports are equipped with specially designed green stands symbolizing the Project.

Furthermore, as a mechanism for creating more convenient transportation together with citizens, the project plans to continue its efforts in the future and install new ports that meet the needs of citizens.

We would also like to thank all the port owners who cooperated in the installation of the ports. We have received individual requests for ports in the past, but we have not yet been able to compile them and show how many requests we have received in concrete terms. The results of this survey are the result of our desire to make the city of Fukuoka more convenient and enjoyable to travel around, and to work together with you to create such an urban development. Shared cycle service "Charichari

Charichari

Charichari" is a shared bicycle service that can be used easily by unlocking the special red bicycle with a smartphone application. Basic bicycles are available for 6 yen per minute and electrically assisted bicycles for 15 yen per minute. The service was launched in Fukuoka in February 2018, and has grown to include approximately 4,200 bicycles and more than 680 bike-parking ports, with a cumulative total of more than 20 million uses in other areas.
