Genten Corporation (headquartered in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture), operator of the Genten Negidako takoyaki chain, will begin selling a new product, "Soup Tako" (4 pieces for 640 yen including tax), at its five affiliated stores in the Kanto and Chugoku regions in February 2024. This is a "new type of takoyaki" made with fresh raw octopus, domestic flour, electrolyzed reduced water, and our signature "Genten Negidako" and our "special pork bone broth" from which the flavor is slowly extracted. The product is available at the Minatomirai store (Nishi-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), SUNAMO store (Koto-ku, Tokyo), LaLa Garden Kawaguchi store (Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture), AEON Style Makuhari Shin-Toshin store (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture), and AEON Mall Hiezuson store (Hiezu Village, Tottori Prefecture), where it has been on sale for about a month since last December.
This Pork Bone Soup Tako is the first product in the series. New soups will be introduced seasonally in the future, and customers can enjoy the combination with Genten Negidako's takoyaki.

<Real takoyaki made with the finest ingredients and water>.
Genten Negidako's takoyaki uses fresh raw octopus that has not been soaked in hot water and non-genetically modified domestic flour to bring out the true flavor of octopus. Since its establishment in 2002, the company has been offering products that anyone can enjoy safely and deliciously, as stated in its concept.
<Hakata tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen soup, a secret recipe that has been perfected through the use of the "priming" method.
The first pork bone soup in the Soup Tako series is a collaboration with the Hakata tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen soup served at Hinomaru Shokudo, the origin of the Hakata yatai stalls in Tenjin, Fukuoka. The soup is a secret recipe. The company plans to collaborate with famous ramen stores and soup makers to offer products in the second and subsequent series, including miso and seafood soups.
<We are committed to creating "takoyaki that tastes better than takoyaki" and is safe and delicious to eat. The "Genten Negidako" is committed to the ingredients and taste.
Founded in March 2002, Genten Corporation has been operating takoyaki restaurants throughout Japan, representing Kansai's food culture, based on the concept of "providing comfort, healing, and vitality in daily life" through food and drink. We provide "service not bound by manuals" that responds to the needs and trust of our customers, just as street stores and private restaurants do, by thoroughly managing the origin and freshness of ingredients that anyone, young or old, can eat with peace of mind. We continue to challenge ourselves in product development in pursuit of "authentic taste".
Genten Negidako currently has a total of nine stores in the Kansai, Shikoku, and Kanto areas. The main store in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, as well as in the food court of a shopping center, offer their products.
