A stage depicting the life of Raicho Hiratsuka Blue Stocking Ladies" at Hibiya Uchisaiwaicho Hall April 4-5 at Uchisaiwaicho Hall in Hibiya

JCA, a general incorporated association that holds numerous cultural performances in Japan and abroad, will present "Blue Stocking Ladies" from April 4 (Thu.) to April 5 (Fri.), 2024, as an event commemorating the 10th anniversary of its international cultural exchange program. This stage performance depicts the life of writer Hiratsuka Raicho, a symbol of the era that ran from the Meiji to Showa eras, who continued to promote women's activities, free way of life, and individuality.

Former actress Miwa Tajima (Mamiko Aso), president of JCA, will play Raicho Hiratsuka for the first time in 25-6 years. You will enjoy a spectacular stage performance by a group of unique actors portraying the changing times.
