Development Background

Since the Showa period (1926-1989), the "waterless pot(R)" has been passed down from parents to children and from children to grandchildren, and has been loved by them. The "anhydrous pot(R)," made using Hiroshima's world-class aluminum casting technology, has now been developed in collaboration with a home appliance manufacturer. While anhydrous pot(R) cooking is full of flavor and nutrients, it is sometimes difficult in this day and age to cook with someone who has to stay behind all the time. HAL COOK" was born out of this desire to "make cooking easier and simpler for everyone, while maintaining the tradition of anhydrous cooking.

Inheriting the tradition of the anhydrous cooker, HAL COOK can be used for authentic cooking without leaving the pot unattended(R).

The product is made with the advantages of anhydrous cookware, which combines the advantages of cast metal cookware, such as excellent heat conductivity and heat storage, with the lightness of aluminum material, while enabling "leave it alone(R)" cooking through collaboration with home electric appliances.

Automatic mode" and "rice cooking mode" that only HAL COOK can offer

A total of 8 different "automatic modes" and "rice cooking modes" are provided to suit the ingredients and recipes to be cooked. These modes were developed through a process of trial and error with a nutritionist from the beginning of development to automate the heat and time settings to suit the ingredients. Anyone can easily enjoy waterless cooking at the touch of a button by simply adding ingredients.

Waterless cooking maximizes the nutrition and umami of the ingredients.

Waterless cooking makes use of the moisture and oil content of the ingredients themselves without adding extra water, and uses only a small amount of seasoning and oil to cook the food, thus bringing out the nutrition and flavor of the ingredients. Waterless curry" and "Waterless boiled spinach" are excellent examples of waterless cooking.

Includes a recipe book supervised by a nutritionist.

A recipe book with 30 recipes supervised by nutritionist Aya Nogawa, including "Waterless Meat and Potatoes," "Stewed Pork" and "Cooked Paella," is included, so even beginner cooks can enjoy the recipes from the day they arrive.
