Spicy cod roe and Kyushu souvenir specialty store in Canal City Hakata Hakata no Aji Yamaya" opened on December 15 (Fri.)!

Yamaya Communications Inc. (Headquarters: Sasaguri-machi, Kasuya-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture; President: Masahide Yamamoto; hereinafter referred to as "Yamaya") will open "Hakata no Aji Yamaya," a specialty store of spicy cod roe and Kyushu souvenirs, in Canal City Hakata on December 15, 2023 (Friday). Prior to the opening, a pre-opening will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023.

The "Hakata no Aji Yamaya" Canal City Hakata Store is a specialty store that offers a wide range of specialty products from Kyushu, including Yamaya's spicy cod roe, as well as specialty products and seasonal fruits. The store is designed based on the concept of a store where customers can not only purchase products, but can also enjoy tasting them, and where they can experience the taste of Yamaya's products in an easy and enjoyable way.

About products and campaigns

The store sells "Dekitate Mentai Mentai" (freshly pickled spicy cod roe) and "Mentai Senbei" (crispy and savory rice crackers), which retain the original texture of rice, as well as a variety of other delicious Kyushu products such as motsu nabe (hot pot) sets and mustard mustard.

As a pre-opening event, during the period from December 8 (Fri.) to December 14 (Thu.), a limited quantity of YAMAYA rice (300g) will be given away with a purchase of 2,500 yen (tax included) or more. *End as soon as it runs out.

After the grand opening on December 15 (Fri.), a limited number of 300 "baked sweet potatoes" of Anno sweet potatoes produced by Yamaya's agricultural business brand "Kajukura" will be sold. Other seasonal fruits from Kyushu, such as "fully ripe Amaou strawberries" and "Tomiyu persimmons" produced in Asakura, Fukuoka Prefecture, will also be on sale*1.

At the tasting corner, Yamaya's "Spicy cod roe", "Karashi Takana", "Mentai France" and "Umadashi" will be available*2.
