Background of the project

Allergic disease is a terrible illness that can sometimes cause anaphylactic shock and even death.

In December 2022, the only clinic in the Mikawa area of Nagomi-machi will close, leaving the area without a doctor. We have started a crowdfunding campaign with the aim of averting a life-threatening situation by providing free allergy tests to children who will start eating school lunches and eating out more often.

■Features

*Detection of allergic diseases that cannot be detected by eating with family members

What children eat depends on their family's diet, and there are some foods that are not on the table due to parents' likes/dislikes or allergic diseases. Therefore, we cannot deny the possibility that children may have allergic diseases that they are not aware of unless they are tested.

*Select a mail-in type test kit

We plan to use 41 different test kits (AreSuppo 41) provided by the Japan Institute for Genome Medicine and Dentistry.

By using test kits that are mailed , parents can get tested without losing income without having to travel to a distant medical facility or take time off from work to go twice to receive the test and results.

*Risk management on the part of the school.

By detecting allergies that are not known by the children themselves or their parents, schools can reduce the risk to the children in their care. This can be useful for the safety management of the child by sharing a common understanding between the parents and the school.

About Returns

Basically, we would appreciate it if you consider it as a donation or fundraising. In the case of a corporation, up to a certain limit, the donation is deductible as a tax-deductible expense. Please consult with your tax advisor for details.

Description of the kit: Once a trace amount of blood is collected from the fingertip, the test is completed post-in.
