PS5 First-Person Cyberpunk Action Game"Ghostrunner 2 Gameplay and pre-order bonuses are now available!

Game Source Entertainment (Hong Kong, "GSE") will release the Japanese language packaged version of "Ghostrunner 2," a first-person cyberpunk action game developed by One More Level in Poland, on PlayStation(R)5 on Thursday, January 25, 2024. The game's gameplay and pre-order bonuses will be announced this time.

Gameplay

The player-controlled protagonist, Jack, ventures beyond the Dharma Tower to defeat a ferocious AI cult group. Jack is extremely agile and can dash, jump, wall-run, and slide through dangerous environments. He can also use his grappling hook to move and his sensory boost to temporarily slow time and fly through the air. The game also introduces a stamina meter, which determines how often you can dash and dodge attacks.

Although Jack uses a sword as his primary weapon, he also has several skills, which he can use both in combat situations and when solving puzzles. The "shuriken," for example, can not only kill or stun enemies, but can also dislodge suspended objects from their chains or hit switches at a distance. Both Jack and his enemies have limited health, so players can experience the tension of a one-hit kill.

Ghostrunner 2 also introduces vehicle-based battles, with some levels allowing Jack to ride a motorcycle while fighting enemies and avoiding obstacles.

The game's non-linear gameplay allows players to plan their own routes before confronting enemies. As the game progresses, players will be able to upgrade Jack's skills to further enhance them.
