What is a "design sprint"?
A "design sprint" is a workshop-style method designed to minimize risk and cost and efficiently develop products and services. There are two main trends: "Product Design Sprints," developed by Jake Knapp, formerly of Google Ventures, has been published as a book called "SPRINT" and is a bestseller in 23 countries around the world. The "Service Design Sprint" was developed by Tenny Pinheiro, formerly of LiveWORK, and each has its own specialty and scope. All have been adopted around the world to speed up work and projects and continue to deliver great results. From cutting-edge companies in Silicon Valley to international organizations, non-profit organizations, and schools, this is a hot problem-solving method that has been adopted by many.
Past Design Sprint workshops
Using specific examples of "design sprints," we discussed common challenges and solutions for new businesses.
We have been asked by PERSOL CAREER to "sublimate the design sprint used in the development of new services into a more reproducible method," and we have provided tailor-made design sprints and accompanied the implementation of the method. In this seminar, our service designer Nagai, who was in charge of the project, and Mr. Hasegawa, who is currently the product owner of HiPro Direct, will join us to discuss the challenges and solutions for new businesses from their different perspectives as design consultants and product owners. We will discuss the challenges and solutions for new businesses from the different perspectives of a design consultant and a product owner. We will discuss and talk specifically about how to approach issues that are easy to face from the practice of design thinking and the use of design sprints, which was an issue at the time, to MVP validation, not just a method, with case examples.
