The Oga Peninsula is an area of Akita Prefecture with extremely distinctive landscapes and unique cultural content, including namahage (a type of bald cypress). Among these, the Unosaki Coast, the site of the proposed project, is a scenic spot that has been selected as one of the "100 best beaches in Japan," and depending on the weather, Mt. Chokai, Akita's sacred mountain, can be seen on the horizon of the Sea of Japan.
With the theme of "Love the Sea of Japan and Celebrate Oga," we aim to provide lodging facilities and services at the planned site that will serve as a base for stay-and-go tourism, presenting the charms of Oga from a unique perspective.
