About Vintage Founding Story

In 2014, in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark in Scandinavia, two watch-loving childhood friends purchased a luxury wristwatch as a graduation gift from business school. It was an emotional moment when they got their hands on the particular watch they had vowed to use for the rest of their lives. However, we could not afford to buy a luxury watch for every turning point in our lives, so we began working to realize our dream of producing watches that are valuable enough to be kept in a safe, but at a reasonable price. This is the mission and the birth story of About Vintage.

We produce watches that accompany each and every one of our customers at their most precious moments and turning points in their lives.

All of our watches have the following specifications

Steel & Gold

We use Finnish stainless steel that meets the standard of 316L. This is the same material used in high-quality watches and jewelry around the world, and is the same quality used in surgical instruments. Our gold processing has of course passed ISO standard tests and is certified.

▽Sapphire crystal glass

All watches are equipped with Japanese precision glass with anti-reflective coating, which is extremely resistant to scratches and shocks. This is a very costly material, but it is indispensable for making a long-lasting watch. Some models are also made with domed glass to give them a three-dimensional effect and a sense of weight.

Movement (caliber)

We carefully select the world's best Swiss or Japanese movements for our watches. We select movements that meet specific standards, such as Miyota movement, Stella movement, and TMI movement. These have been tested all over the world and have received high evaluations for their resistance.
