Background of the Project

We have been working to keep the traditional culture of Japanese painting alive and to show Japanese paintings to as many people as possible, but there were no local galleries where people could appreciate the art or places where Japanese paintings could be displayed for the long term. In response to requests from the surrounding community, we have taken on the challenge of crowdfunding for renovation work on our painting exhibit, Fujitsu Kitsu Gallery, so that more people can enjoy Japanese-style paintings.

■Features

In order to solve the problem of remodeling the building of an existing property to exhibit paintings, we need to install rails and equipment to display the works, and post-construction costs (electricity, lighting fixtures, toilets, etc.).

After the exhibition is held in the renovated Fujitsu Gallery, it will also serve as a permanent exhibit of Japanese-style painter Yuri Kato's work, and will help to revitalize the local community and promote the development of the community.
