The Adele Foundation for Creation of Future (hereafter, "Adele Foundation for Creation of Future") conducted a survey of men and women in their 20s and 30s across Japan regarding scholarships, which are now used by many students.
Scholarships are said to be a source of financial hardship for many working people whose incomes have become unstable due to the economic downturn.
This survey revealed the reality that young people are giving up some of their dreams due to economic hardship.
About 80% of those who are repaying their scholarship answered that they would be able to have (more) dreams if they had more money.
In light of this situation, the Adele Future Creation Fund is launching a project to support young people who are struggling to repay their scholarships. Details will be announced shortly.
