In "Komoro Romantic 2023 Autumn," temples, shrines, stores, and facilities in Komoro City and along the old Hokkoku Kaido Road will cooperate to create a walking map that will take visitors on a tour of attractive spots. The 2.5-hour course allows visitors to experience "Komoro Romanticism," a fusion of various cultures, history, and nature.
We have prepared many special events such as the popular rotating original stamp "Rin-in", the "Temple Cafe", "Komomomi Market", and "TeLIVE" held in the precincts of temples.
This year, we will distribute a limited number of "Goshu-ring-in", a collaboration of "Rin-in" and "Goshu-ring" with red seals of each temple. In addition, a 31-note blindfolded used book market will be held at the Komonomi Market.
At the goal point, Yorakan, visitors who answer questionnaires or help run special events will receive "Machi no Coin," a community currency that connects them to the local community through hands-on experience.
We look forward to seeing you at the event, which will offer a variety of events for children and adults alike.

Shimazaki Toson, a great writer from Nagano Prefecture, captured nature and daily life with a fresh sensibility and left behind outstanding works. Kyoshi Takahama, a famous modern haiku poet who is said to have composed more than 200,000 haiku during his lifetime, came into contact with the Komoro climate and created a new world.
Along the old Hokkoku Kaido Road, many buildings from the Edo, Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods are mixed together, and in recent years, new life can be felt in the area, as immigrants and young people attracted to Komoro have opened restaurants in the existing buildings.
During the festival, visitors can also enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves at the ruins of Komoro Castle and shrines and temples. Please come and enjoy walking around Komoro, where you can encounter a variety of history, culture, and delicious food.
