Background

Currently, there are approximately 13.3 million people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in Japan. It is said to be a new national disease, affecting one out of every eight adults. As kidney function declines, various health risks occur due to the accumulation of harmful waste products in the body.

PREMIUM Inutouki, launched in March 2023, is a dietary supplement that supports healthy kidney care. The developer, Motohiro Hayashi (our president), started developing this product based on his own experience of healthy kidney care in 30 months. 8 years of development and 3 years of testing later, the product was developed and launched for the general market.

About the Recommended Selection System of the Japan Adult Disease Prevention Association

The "Recommended Selection System" is a system under which the "Japan Adult Disease Prevention Association," a medical organization, conducts a rigorous review of health care products and services that are essential for the maintenance and promotion of the public's health by experts in various fields, with the aim of establishing standards for superior quality and safety, and ensuring that consumers can use these products with confidence.

There were many difficulties before the development of this product. It was a series of challenges to produce a large amount of this endangered Class II plant without allowing its roots to rot or flower for five years. While naturally occurring ingredients take a considerable amount of time before their benefits are felt, there is a risk of health effects if done too quickly, and we have conducted a number of tests to confirm their safety.

Finally, we succeeded in developing "PREMIUM Inutouki" containing "Maca from South America" and formulating a formula for calculating the proper intake. This has resulted in a product that supports the "decline in kidney function," which is said to be the cause of many modern people's health problems such as "fatigue," "swelling," "sluggishness," and "weight gain," among others.

Currently, the product continues to grow as more than 2,000 bags are sold annually, and we believe that demand will increase further in the future as awareness of its importance grows. The challenge for the future is that mass production of the raw material is difficult, and our current production capacity is only 50,000 bags.
